my green Regency-period (esque, I don't pretend it's completely accurate) dress is coming together; I've been making puffy sleeves and getting grief from my mom about it: supposedly the first 'fashion' decision I ever made was outlawing puffy sleeves from my wardrobe. The bodice is mostly done; the skirts as well, but I don't have the right trim for it, so need to make a Joann's run sometime soon (hopefully tomorrow) and then that will be up.
I realized that I never posted my Beauty-and-the-Beast Belle dress... I should do that (it's the blue market dress rather than the gold one; the gold one will wait for one of those maybe-somedays).
I'm working with a friend to create a fantasy Renaissance costume for her; it's blue and sparkly and floaty. But she injured her knee lifeguarding, so hasn't been bothering me to work with her lately.
This summer's been filled with all sorts of interesting things. How have you been?
